Revisor-Translator – English | Longueuil/Montreal

We are looking for a Revisor-Translator – English to join our team. Growing rapidly in Québec and Ontario, where it has six locations (Québec City, Montréal, Old Montréal, Longueuil, Laval and Toronto), SPB supports leaders and organizations in creating growth and performance strategies as well as identifying, developing and mobilizing talent to support business objectives. As a member of the team of linguistic and visual quality specialists, you will work with the team of consultants to review, translate and format documents for our business clientele, including intervention reports, proposals and promotional tools. Depending on your talents and areas of interest, you could also support the team in projects that showcase your creativity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Translate and review various documents, including assessment reports, with a strict, client-focussed approach.
  • Contribute to the visual design and formatting of various documents and tools, according to established graphic standards.
  • Manage and prepare replies to calls for tenders and major proposals (support for drafting, reviewing and formatting documents). 
  • Help update and optimize promotional tools, social media and the website, working with the Marketing Department.
  • As needed, coordinate translations from suppliers and external partners.

Competency Profile

  • Education in a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent ability to review documents in English. 
  • Translation skills and experience (French to English).
  • Functional knowledge of French (fluency is an asset). 
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Experience drafting major proposals is an asset. 
  • The ability to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an asset.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and structured work approach.
  • Superior ability to work with a team.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work in an open-concept space.
