You will be a key player in driving SPB’s growth in a highly dynamic market. You will enable our Regional Leaders to grow the business by coordinating sales activities and editing marketing materials. You will bring our marketing and sales initiatives to life by coordinating events, implementing the corporate marketing strategy locally and developing client relationships. You will also manage the day-to-day office needs including vendor & supply management and tending to the office operations.

The major work you will do:

Sales and Client

  • Coordinate in-coming calls and identify service needs from potential clients
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and develop communication for the Regional Leaders
  • Key player in assisting the Regional Leaders in their response for leads and clients
  • Coordinate the production of sales presentations and business proposals
  • Create, proofread, organize and disseminate communications, presentations and documentation
  • Build, check, update and expand client database and key contact information

Marketing

  • Build relationships with professional and industry organizations to identify speaking, sponsorship or marketing opportunities
  • Assist with tactical activities and planning on specific projects, including events and sponsorships
  • Work with Regional Leaders, Marketing, and Consultants to develop marketing and thought leadership materials
  • Optimize usage of corporate and individual social media outlets and provide content to enhance social media activities locally
  • Implement Toronto-focused digital go-to-market strategy
  • Conduct market and client research to identify trends, service needs and opportunities

Office Management

  • Build and maintain relationship with the facility’s landlord
  • Ensure the facilities are in their optimal condition, develop improvements to quality of life in the office
  • Manage office operations including services and supply management, vendor management and office maintenance
  • Onboarding of new employees: maintenance of welcome package (documentation, access keys, alarm system codes), orientation, etc.

Qualifications

  • University or college education in the areas of business administration, marketing or equivalent accreditation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a highly dynamic business environment
  • Proficiency with common office applications and ability to quickly learn and apply new technology
  • Bilingualism is an asset, though not required
